A renewable component with exponential failure and repair times is considered, and its instantaneous availability at time t is denoted by A(t). This paper proposes two methods for constructing lower confidence limits of A(t) with Chebyshev inequation and generalized p-value approach.

概念格的粗糙近似比较研究

形式背景产生了概念格,每个节点由外延和内涵组成.对形式背景论域中的任何一个子集,可用外延来近似,在这方面已有了4种方法.对这些方法进行了比较研究,利用粗糙集理论证明了用这些方法所求出的概念的上近似外延是相同的,并利用粗糙集理论研究了概念格属性约简后,原来方法对结果的一致性.     

Positive Solution of Singular Boundary Value Problems on a Half-Line

This paper investigates existence of positive solutions of singular sub-linear boundary value problems on a half-line. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of positive continuous solutions or smooth solutions on [0, ∞] are given by constructing new lower and upper solutions.     

Computing the asymptotic worst-case of bin packing lower bounds

This paper addresses the issue of computing the asymptotic worst-case of lower bounds for the Bin Packing Problem. We introduce a general result that allows to bound the asymptotic worst-case performance of any lower bound for the problem and to derive for the first time the asymptotic worst-case of the well-known bound L₃ by Martello and Toth. We also show that the general result allows to easily derive the asymptotic worst-case of several lower bounds proposed in the literature.     

单模光场与二能级原子的纠缠的内禀退相干

在一个考虑了内禀退相干的单模光场与二能级原子的耦合系统中,平均光子数,激发态的概率和退相干系数如何影响纠缠随时间演化还并不清楚.Jaynes-Cummings模型被用来描述光场与原子间相互作用.用concurrence下限来计算纠缠度.模拟的结果表明纠缠度随着退相干系数的增加或平均光子数的减少而增加.当激发态的概率在0至0.1之间,纠缠度随着的概率增加而减少;当激发态的概率在0.1至1之间,纠缠度随着的概率增加而增加.无论以上参数取何值,纠缠度都随着时间而减少.     

Estimates of the distances to direct lines and rays from the poles of simplest fractions bounded in the norm of L p on these sets

For each p > 1, we obtain a lower bound for the distances to the real axis from the poles of simplest fractions (i.e., logarithmic derivatives of polynomials) bounded by 1 in the norm of L _p on this axis; this estimate improves the first estimate of such kind derived by Danchenko in 1994. For p = 2, the estimate turns out to be sharp. Similar estimates are obtained for the distances from the poles of simplest fractions to the vertices of angles and rays.
